New spy photos have surfaced on the web this week showing that the 2012 Ford SVT F-150 Raptor will get some updates both visually and in features.
The photographers at Brenda Priddy & Co. have spotted the new Raptor due to debut soon with a new wheel design and graphics package. The new wheels are an update in similar design to the current ones.
Also seen in the photos is a new front-view camera in the grille between the O and R of FORD. This may be a help in parking lots and off-road situations where seeing what is directly in front of the lifted truck can sometimes be tricky.
Other expected features will be a standard 4.2-inch LCD productivity screen that offers a range of menu options, giving information on everything from fuel economy to towing performance. The menu is navigated through a five-way button on the steering wheel; the screen is positioned between the tachometer and speedometer.
Engine and powertrain are expected to be carryover from 2011.
